AKWAABA TO FAIR GHANA!

FAIR GHANA is an independent actor that aims to spread information about fruit, cocoa and nutproducers in Ghana and how they have been affected by  Fairtrade (FLO) certification.

Poverty puts people into vulnerable positions and it is common that basic human rights are violated in the agricultural sector in Ghana. Fairtrade can be one out of several useful tools to improve the working and livingconditions of farmers and plantationworkers in Ghana.

Fairtrade is an independent productlable and a guarantee that a product have been certified against international Fairtrade-standards. The standards are developed by Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO) and are based on the basic ILO conventions on human rights and aims for economic development and increased environmental consideration.
